* What is Somatic Breath Healing?
Somatic Breath Healing is a process of using your breath in a conscious way to optimize your respiratory system's impact on your mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
* What is an individual session like?
Individual sessions are usually 1 to 2 hours in length and include a time of centering, sharing, education, and somatic breath therapy or coaching practice. You will learn breath techniques to increase your breath awareness and conscious use of your breath, which you can implement directly into your life to assist with decreasing stress and increasing relaxation in the present moment. Over time, you may develop a practice of conscious connected breathing which can facilitate your intentions of freeing your body from suppressed emotions and pain and opening yourself more fully to the wonderful life you are living.
* What will my experience be in a group?
Somatic Breath Healing workshops and Breathing Circles are another way to experience the breath in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Using the energy and dynamics of a group, we explore breath awareness, body awareness, and heart-centered sharing. We will learn and practice breath techniques we can use in the moment and in our lives each day.
